FORESTRY MULCHING

One machine, one pass. Our mulcher grinds brush, saplings, and invasive growth into fine mulch that stays on your land and feeds the soil as it breaks down — instead of scarring the ground or leaving a pile to burn or haul away.

NATURE DID THIS FIRST

Before we started putting out every wildfire, nature handled this job itself — fire would sweep through every few decades, clearing brush and saplings so bigger trees had room to grow. We don't let that happen anymore, and for good reason. Forestry mulching is the next best thing: it does what fire used to do, minus the smoke and the risk.

Third Hand Earthworks started in 2017 doing standard excavation work — grading, driveways, general dirt work. In 2022 we shifted focus to forestry mulching, and it's been our specialty ever since. Still small, still local, still just us — no corporate overhead, no big crew.
